MyFastBid helps small service businesses turn everyday work into clear quotes, planned jobs and invoices. Use the web app at your desk and the mobile apps while you are out. Your customer only needs the link you send them.
1. Make the workspace yours
Create your account, choose your trade and decide whether to start with editable demo services or an empty catalog. Demo prices and customers are examples: check them before using them for real work.
In Business setup, add your business details and base address. This is the starting point for driving estimates. Set your working hours, booking rules and payment preferences: all in advance, a deposit, or payment after the job. Decide whether customer bookings need your approval.
Invite your team with the access each person needs. Each business has its own customers, catalog, settings and connected accounts. If you belong to more than one business, switch workspaces before making changes.
2. Set up services once
A service is something you sell: a door adjustment, a cleaning visit or a property photography package. Give it a clear name and description, then choose how you charge: a fixed amount, per unit, by time or as a package. Set the time the work usually takes too. You can edit saved services on the web or in either mobile app: open Workspace, Catalog, choose a service and tap Edit service. Try an example price before saving.
Add options customers or your team may need, such as size, finish or level of service. Tell MyFastBid which details affect the price. A service can require a working address or floor area, so those details can be collected once on the quote and reused.
Use the pricing test in the catalog to try real examples before saving. Check quantities, minimum charges, options, taxes and time estimates. Your catalog is your business's price list; you remain in control of the prices.
3. Name the quote and add the work
Start with a quote name. Choose an existing customer or create one in the customer picker. If your plan has a customer limit, you can see the allowance there.
Add services from the catalog, or start from a reusable quote template. Add another service whenever you need it. Choose options and quantities, then open Note to adjust a line's description. Service descriptions start the note for you and carry through to the invoice.
If this job needs an address, floor area or driving estimate, add those beside the quote details. Address suggestions help you select the right place; still check the result. Set up your base address and routing connection for driving estimates, or use the available manual controls. Travel fees are waived by default, so you can send without calculating travel. To add a charge, open Travel Fees, calculate it, then choose Add to Quote.
Reusable notes and terms save typing. Manage these templates on the web and apply them on mobile. Named mobile drafts save and sync automatically when a connection is available. While offline, the app keeps your changes on the device and retries when it can. Saving a draft does not send it to the customer. Check the connection status before relying on another device to show the latest changes.
4. Offer useful extras, right beside the quote
Define relevant extras on a service: Door painting alongside Door adjustment, for example. Each extra has a name, description, price and added work time. Charge a fixed amount for the parent line or a percentage of that line's service price. A fixed extra applies once to the line, even when that line has several units.
While building the quote, choose which extras to offer. You can also offer other quote items as optional. The customer sees optional extras directly below the quoted work and chooses whether to add them. Their selection updates the total and estimated work time, along with applicable tax, discounts and deposit.
Where a trade uses aerial services, configured drone checks can flag restrictions at the working address. These checks are planning help, not flight clearance. The pilot still checks current rules, permissions, conditions and safety before flying.
5. Review, then send
Check the price, service address, customer details, terms, travel and payment arrangements. The totals show an approximate work duration with a variation allowance when the services have time estimates. Driving is shown separately; unknown service times are flagged rather than presented as a complete estimate.
Save as a draft if you are still working, or save and send. Use email, or open the device's text composer where supported. You review and send the text from your messaging app. MyFastBid does not automatically text a customer simply because a draft was saved.
6. Your customer opens one link
No customer account or password is needed. The customer can read the quote, see the details, choose offered extras and accept, decline or request changes where available. The shared link gives access to that quote, so send it to the right person and treat it as private.
If you enable booking, the customer can request or choose an available time under your rules. If you enable online payments, they can follow the payment link. Your connected payment provider handles payment details. Acceptance, scheduling and payment are distinct steps; an accepted quote does not itself prove that money has been received.
7. Plan the job and collect payment
Turn agreed work into a job. Assign people or reusable crews, allow for the selected services and travel, and check for scheduling conflicts. Use booking approval when you want the final say over the time.
Create an invoice from the agreed quote, including selected extras and line notes. Follow payments and balances, send supported reminders and download PDFs. Invoice emails and PDFs include private payment and booking links. If the business has not finished payment or booking setup, the page explains that the link is not available yet; the same link shows the available options after setup. For regular visits, use service agreements and recurring jobs instead of building the same work again each week or month.
8. Keep the next step in view
Use customers, requests, the sales pipeline and follow-up tasks to keep track of enquiries and unfinished conversations. See upcoming work, invoices and workspace activity from the web app. Notifications depend on your connection, device permissions and configured delivery services.
Connect your own Stripe account, Google Contacts and supported calendars from Integrations. Each connection belongs to your business workspace. The setup page explains how to connect it and shows status and connection checks. Third-party accounts, fees and availability are separate from your MyFastBid plan.
At a desk, on a phone or on a tablet
The Android and iOS apps use the same workspace as the web app and are being developed together. Use the version cards and shared changelog to see what has shipped. Preview builds may need developer installation until store listings are available. Some administration and detailed setup remain in the web workspace. Open Help & Support for searchable setup guides and private support tickets. You can also send us a question through the contact form without signing in; we will reply using the email you provide. Solo and Team offer monthly or annual billing; Team includes the leader and at least one additional person. Review pricing, team size and any grace deadline in Plan & usage. Team leaders can set permissions and skills, assign jobs from a combined color-coded calendar and link separate shared calendars for staff. SaaS administrators can review available trades and their optional demo content in SaaS management → Verticals. The landing page shows three sample quotes per trade in a rotating illustration.
Choose Light, Dark or your device's appearance on mobile. Times follow the viewing device's time zone. Keep your app updated, protect your device and allow pending changes to sync before signing out or changing devices.
Plans and referrals
Plan & usage shows the features and limits that apply to your business. Limits can be total allowances or renew over a period, such as a month. Review the plan and billing terms shown before upgrading or downgrading.
Verticals and referrals lets you choose your trade, add example data and share your referral link. Qualifying paid referrals can earn eligible paid accounts two subscription months. Eligible free accounts earn subscription credits, with one credit worth one US dollar toward an eligible subscription. Your referral page shows the applicable reward, qualification and redemption status; rewards are not cash.
A good first try
Use a demo customer, add one service and one optional extra, review the time and price, then save a draft. Open the preview before sending anything. Once you are happy with your setup, use a real customer's details and send your first quote.
Give your business its own storefront
Paid plans include a public storefront at myfastbid.com/your-name. Add your logo, public contact details and services. Edit your pages with a rich text editor, choose a layout and light or dark theme, then preview and publish. Free accounts can build privately before upgrading. Customers can browse services and contact you without creating an account.
Learn how to build your storefront
Find your storefront style
Try twelve storefront designs with your own content, including designs for property photography, lawn care and home cleaning. Preview colors, light or dark mode, typography and layouts on desktop, tablet and phone before applying a design.
Add a cover photo and photos to your service cards. Choose your own uploaded images or one of six AI-generated sample photos. Applying a template keeps your existing page text, services and prices; publish when you are ready.
The three demo storefronts now stay available permanently, with no expiry. They have distinct designs and illustrated service catalogs. Platform administrators can manage permanent demo access separately from subscriptions.
Explore the storefront design guide
Try designs on the live demos
Open any demo storefront and tap Try designs. Choose one of twelve templates, then use the Style tab to explore colors, light or dark appearance, typography, layouts and cover photos.
Your changes appear immediately and follow you between demo pages during your browser session. Reset restores the original design. You can explore without signing in, and the business’s saved site and content stay unchanged.
Five new ways to welcome your customers
Five new landing designs change the structure of your storefront: Mosaic uses modular tiles; Lookbook combines large editorial type and a photo gallery; Service Desk starts with choosing a service; Exhibit has side navigation and a photographic portfolio; Poster uses bold type, a circular photo and numbered service panels.
There are now twelve designs, with miniature layout previews in Storefront → Templates and the public Try designs tab. Mix page layouts, light or dark appearance, colors and typography. Existing content and prices are preserved; visitors can try designs without changing the saved website.
Explore plans with real document examples
Hover over a pricing feature, or tap it on your phone, for a plain-English explanation of what it does, how its allowance works and a practical example. Prices, billing choices and team seats also have explanations, with links to the help guides and storefront demo.
See real MyFastBid sent-quote and invoice screens with fictional customer details. Open either image, zoom in to read it, then return to the plan. The sample quote shows an optional extra next to the work. Keyboard controls and a text guide are available too.
Make your storefront useful from the first visit
Show where you work with an interactive service-area map. Add counties, remove cities and refine ZIP areas. Visitors can check an address and ask about work outside the usual area. Autocomplete is included through MyFastBid for every account.
Give individual services their own rich pages with scope, exclusions, preparation, options, extras and time guidance. Edit a four-step How the job works section and a team introduction; choose which sections to publish.
Let visitors build an estimate from services and extras. Prices and approximate work time update automatically. Requests arrive in Storefront Messages, ready to become a draft quote for your review.
Returning customers can request a secure email link to their quotes, issued invoices and appointments without a new password. A phone action bar keeps calling, texting, quoting and enabled appointment options close at hand.
Enable the tools in Business setup → Storefront, preview privately, and publish when ready. Optional inquiry notifications use the existing scheduled worker. The permanent demonstration storefronts include sample service areas, pages and extras.
Type an address and choose a match
Address autocomplete is included automatically with every Free and paid account. No separate API key or setup is needed. Storefront visitors and customers using public request forms also receive suggestions.
Choose an address to fill it accurately, including its ZIP code in the coverage checker. The same connection works in customer, quote, invoice, job, business and driving-base address fields. Existing custom keys are preserved; you can return to the included connection in Integrations.
New mobile previews add autocomplete to the remaining customer address fields, plus Android job, invoice and drone-check addresses. Address searches use Geoapify; apartment details can still be entered manually.
